To position the Group as a major pan-European logistics provider specialising in the express delivering small consignments of palletised freight

  • The development of an internal branded marketing campaign entitled: One Network, One Brand, One Vision and has involved the development of a brand and communications guide for all staff and 400 franchisees
  • The development and implementation of a major PR programme across Europe to maximise Group announcements across the 20 countries it serves
  • The development of a pan-European reputation management plan
  • Handling pan-European communications in relation to the company’s acquisition by Imperial Holdings in 2016

Outcomes

  • The pan European communications and engagement programme has played a key role in:
  • Raising awareness of Palletways as a pan-European operator by generating some 200 plus pieces of coverage on Group activities and achievements across UK and mainland Europe. In doing so it has supported its strategic objective to be the seen as the first choice provider for express deliveries of small consignments of freight in Europe
  • Supporting 40% growth in the pan-European business which is predicted to continue at a similar level in the next 12 months
  • Safeguarding the excellent reputation of the Palletways Group by handling all incidents effectively
  • Supporting expansion into new markets - in the last year Palletways has extended its services to six new countries
