Clifton-based JBP, one of the UK’s leading strategic communications consultancies, has been recognised as one of the top five Public Relations consultancies in the country at the national Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Excellence Awards 2007, attended by some 1000 professionals from the PR industry.
JBP, which employs 24 staff, was announced by BBC News presenter and awards’ compere Stephen Sackur, as one of the five most outstanding PR consultancies across the UK. The other four agencies were based in London and the South East. The achievement follows the company’s triumph at the CIPR’s South West PRide Awards earlier this year where it picked up six awards, including South West PR Consultancy of the Year.
The Excellence Awards recognise and reward best practice in public relations throughout the UK and acknowledge personal and team achievement at the highest professional level.
This year the Awards received a record 730 entries, the highest number to date.
