JBP is working with Cheltenham Music Festival to promote this year's 65th anniversary event. Already, a record number of tickets have been sold for the event which takes place from 3 - 18 July. JBP has been helping the Festival appeal to a wider audience including families and the business community by highlighting the breadth of entertainment on offer, from a Family Fun Day, a masterclass with world renowned conductor and business leader adviser Ben Zander to a celebration of Jewish composers.
The Festival will also feature a unique exhibition - Painted Quartets,is made up of damaged, beyond-repair violins, violas and cellos which have been lovingly painted and brought back to life by local and national artists., including PJ Crook, graffiti artist FLX, designer Cath Kidston and Laurence Llewellyn Bowen. After they have exhibited, the instruments will be auctioned for charity.
Painted Quartets can be viewed from 4–18 July at the Pittville Campus’s Summerfield Gallery and the Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum, Cheltenham Music Festival runs from 3- 18 July, www.cheltenhamfestivals.com.
