National strategic communications and engagement consultancy JBP has appointed Steve Anderson-Dixon as its new Chief Executive to support the company’s future growth ambitions.
The former Chief Operating Officer at Trinity Mirror’s Regionals Division, the largest national and regional media publisher in the UK, will take over from current Chief Executive of JBP, Jennifer Bryant Pearson who takes up the new role of Founder Director with a focus on client development.
Chris Lawrance and James Turgoose will continue as Managing Directors of the business in Bristol and London respectively.
Says Jennifer Bryant Pearson: “Steve has been a board director at JBP for a number of years and has an extensive track record in the media, as well as significant commercial acumen, which will help support our strategic business plans.
“We have set some very ambitious growth targets and Steve’s appointment, together with my new role, will allow us to focus both on new business projects as well as developing ever stronger relationships with our existing clients and networks. He will have a key role to play in developing our ambitious business strategy’’

In his role at Trinity Mirror, Anderson-Dixon was responsible for the development of all their leading regional news brands including iconic titles such as the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Echo, Newcastle Chronicle, Birmingham Mail and Western Mail.
Prior to joining Trinity Media, Anderson-Dixon was the Regional Managing Director of Northcliffe Media’s South West & Wales operation.
Anderson-Dixon also holds non-executive directorships with the British Veterinary Association, The Publica Group and InVesta Property.
