JBP was engaged by the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum to support the planning and launch of its new exhibition, Breaking the Chains, which commemorated the bicentenary of the Abolition of Slavery.
JBP’s role was to work with the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum in positioning the exhibition at the forefront of the bicentenary events in 2007; and to organise and manage a campaign so that parliamentarians in the South West would be aware of and support the exhibition and its educational programme.
