Case study: Taylor

Taylor, a global provider of waste containment and recycling solutions,  approached JBP to raise its profile and in particular leverage increasing waste legislation and policy developments to position the company as a thought leader.

Activity

Taylor

JBP has undertaken an extensive media relations campaign targeted at publications read by Taylor’s key business audiences and decision makers, including waste contractors, facilities management, the property sector and local authorities. This has focussed on the placement of opinion articles around key issues on waste management and recycling, as part of the strategy to position the company as an authoritative voice in its industry.

The company’s position as a thought leader has also been further enhanced by commissioning two major research studies: Recycling in UK Plc – A State of The Workplace Report, which looked at the level of preparedness of the country’s businesses for new waste legislation and their proactivity towards recycling; and Taking Recycling To A New Level, which looked at the potential of low and high rise flats to UK and European recycling targets.

As part of the research programme of activity, JBP also advised on the creation of Taylor Intelligence, which was set up to provide analysis and commentary on the impacts of waste management trends and legislative developments.

The research programme also created significant
opportunities for engagement with key target audiences
through planned events to launch the findings.
