JBP enters the top 10 public affairs agencies 

The PR industry’s latest rankings are out and JBP is proud to report that we are now a top 10 public affairs agency. We are also ranked in the top 20 for healthcare in the UK.

JBP, now in its 32nd year, opened our Westminster office in 2009 to provide political research and engagement for our clients.  Since then our public affairs offering has become central to our integrated business class service.

Former BBC Royal Correspondent and No 10 media adviser, Clarence Mitchell, joins the Board

Further demonstrating JBP’s ambitious plans, we are delighted to confirm that PR and broadcast veteran Clarence Mitchell has joined the board as Director of Client & Media Services.

On his appointment Clarence said:

I am thrilled to be joining JBP at a time when it has ambitious growth plans and a growing client portfolio. I look forward to playing my part in JBP’s future success.”

Clarence brings a wealth of experience, having been the BBC’s Royal Correspondent; Director of the Government’s Media Monitoring Unit; the Foreign Office spokesman sent in 2007 to assist the McCann family with media handling following the disappearance of their daughter Madeleine in Portugal; Head of Election Media Monitoring, for the Conservative Party during the 2010 UK general election campaign, before later becoming a Conservative Parliamentary candidate, fighting the Brighton Pavilion seat during the 2015 general election campaign.

Not only did JBP break new ground in the public affairs world, but it joined many esteemed agencies in PR Week’s Top 25 for healthcare specialists. JBP was highlighted by PR Week as the fastest growing agency and leapt to 18 in the rankings.
