JBP helps make hub launch a media success

JBP PR & Parliamentary Affairs recently assisted Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, in launching its new Northern Hub in Morley, Leeds, which proved to be a considerable media hit.

The launch of the Northern Hub was covered by 26 media outlets, with a potential readership reach of 402,260 people, equating to over £20,000 worth of coverage. Amongst the 21 regional papers that covered the Hub launch, which was opened by Olympic Gold medal winning Boxer Nicola Adams, were the Yorkshire Post and Yorkshire Evening Post, the Sheffield Star Series and the Lancashire Times.

Interest from the trade press was also high, with a number of publications present on the day. Commercial Motor, Logistics Manager and Materials Handling World were amongst those to run stories on the launch event, and accounted for 13,000 readers across the UK and the web.
