JBP transports Palletways to the social scene

Palletways, Europe’s largest provider of express distribution services for palletised goods, has appointed JBP to handle its social media activity.

For the last 15 years JBP has provided PR support for the logistics provider which delivers to 14 European countries. A key focus of the social media campaign will be customer relations, managing reputation online and promoting the achievements and expertise of Palletways.

Chris Lawrance, Managing Director at JBP, said: “We are delighted to bring our digital expertise to Palletways, a relationship that has lasted for a decade and a half, in which the company has experienced exceptional growth and expansion across Europe.

“This announcement comes on the back of a number of new business wins in recent months and we are consequently expanding our team across all our offices. Our focus on  providing a ‘business class’ service is reaping dividends.”

Steve Doig, Palletways UK Communications Manager, added: “We have not jumped into social media as we wanted  to analyse how it strategically supports our business. With some 100 plus depots in the UK and two hub operations, one of its major benefits will be seen in supporting customer relations.”

Palletways further ramped up their digital offering earlier this month with the launch of their digital information hub as part its Vision 20:20 strategy, a blueprint to dominate the pallet network sector for years to come. The development provides Palletways with significant operational efficiencies and the capability to provide levels of customer service never seen before in the pallet network sector.
