Our Brilliant Internship Programme
Based in Bristol, JBP’s internship programme is designed to attract the best talent in the UK, offering a grounding in the three core areas of our business; public relations, public policy and stakeholder relations.
If you’re a driven individual with a motivation to learn more about the world of communications and PR, there’s nothing holding you back from starting your career with a supportive and leading national agency like JBP.
We offer robust training across our three specialisms; public relations, public policy and stakeholder relations. You will also have the opportunity to spend a day in Westminster with our parliamentary affairs team who lead on political campaigns on behalf of a range of high-profile clients. As part of the scheme, you’ll also be assigned a mentor who will oversee your development.
day to day tasks
Our interns are the first port of call for the initial stages of desk-based research projects and gain an in-depth knowledge of our business, clients – and the industry as a whole.
Every day is different at JBP, but if you’d like to find out more about our internship scheme, here’s a blog post from one of our recent interns, Hannah.
The scheme is designed for recent graduates, college leavers or those looking to increase their knowledge of the sector. You don’t have to have any previous experience in PR or communications to apply for the scheme as we recognise that the strongest talent can come from every background and all walks of life.
how to apply
The JBP internship scheme runs for between 3 and 6 months. Please keep an eye on this page for details on the next round of applications.
Applying couldn’t be simpler, just send us a copy of your CV along with your completed press release (see below for our creative task!) – we look forward to receiving your application.
We’d like you to send us a one-page press release pitching yourself to our agency. Why are you suited to working at JBP? What sets you apart from other candidates? What skill will you bring to the team? Be creative and feel free to think outside of the box!
