Before joining JBP, I taught English in Japan, completed an MA in Culture and Politics at Leiden University, and worked as a manager at Amazon. I learnt about the importance of clear communication and cultural sensitivity in engaging diverse audiences.
I chose to work in Public Relations and Communications because they are increasingly important features of today’s cultural and political landscape. I joined JBP because they allow me to do this while working alongside brilliant people and learning with – and from – clients spanning a wide range of sectors and industries.
I assist on a range of accounts, supporting public relationships and communications’ strategies. That can mean anything from developing new approaches and initiatives to identifying media opportunities.

Try to live mindfully… particularly while reading (to my daughter or myself), writing and walking. I have practised mindfulness and Buddhism since I was 18.
