Jemma Offley

Account Manager

What brought you to JBP?

I have a range of experience working for Members of Parliament, leading the casework team for Rt Hon Lord Goldsmith during his tenure as Richmond Park MP, and most recently the Chief of Staff and Senior Parliamentary Assistant to Felicity Buchan, MP for Kensington. Setting up an MP’s office, horizon-scanning for engagement opportunities, and providing support and advice has given me a vast range of experience of successfully delivering on key objectives.

I have always loved having a job and working hard for clients, be it in the context of my role at JBP, previously in Parliament, or even when I was a florist at the tender age of fourteen! Engagement with people and delivering positive outcomes for others has been a passion of mine in my professional and personal life.

Plate spinning has always been a primary feature of my professional life, so I was keen to work for such a dynamic agency as JBP.

Tell us about your role

As Account Manager, my role is to ensure proactive steps are taken to stimulate parliamentary engagement and deliver on the key objectives for clients.  This involves maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and identifying new engagement opportunities. Creating comprehensive public affairs strategies tailored for each different client ensures a targeted approach, while capitalising on new opportunities as they arise in the fast-paced political environment.

What is your skillset?

I am hugely passionate about people – talking to people and understanding what drives them. Coupled with my knowledge of Parliament and my creativity, I am committed to working hard and delivering successful outcomes.

What do you do in your spare time?

I absolutely love being outdoors, adore the Rolling Stones, and can usually be found mastering a new recipe, spinning or out with friends. Otherwise, I am most likely fixing the latest in a very long list of things that has gone wrong in my flat!
