What brought you to JBP?

I have a very experienced background working in politics. I previously worked as a Conservative Special Adviser for the Leader of the House of Lords, so I have an in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of Parliament and Government. I also previously worked for the Conservative Research Department as a political adviser focussing on detailed opposition research and policy analysis, providing briefing support for ministers, candidates and senior campaign staff during the 2015 General Election campaign. In 2017 I decided to move away from party politics to experience agency life with JBP.

Tell us about your role:

As Head of Parliamentary affairs, I lead on JBP’s public affairs work across a wide range of clients providing advice and analysis on political developments and public policy. I deliver strategic public affairs campaigns to help our clients traverse today’s challenging, and often very confusing, political environment.

What is your skillset?

Public policy / political research / public affairs / strategic advice / campaign strategies / event management

And finally, what do you do in your spare time?

I am a keen sports fan and an avid (and normally disappointed fan of Newcastle United). I also playing netball, reading about politics and visiting as many of London’s pubs as possible.

Fancy becoming brilliant?
