What brought you to JBP?
After 10 years working in Government communications, leading communications on agenda leading news stories, telling amazing stories of innovative businesses and dealing with some very thorny issues I came to JBP to free my creativity and use that experience to help our brilliant clients tell their stories. The fact that we’re able to offer integrated communications advice to our clients, and have a great team with the skills and experience right across the communications mix to advise our clients on the best way to tell their story really landed with me.
Tell us about your role:
I’m head of PR for JBP, so I make sure we’re helping our clients get their message out there, seeing their great stories reach the audiences they want to connect with. I’m also part of our reputation management practice, so when things go wrong, I help them get back on track. My experience covers a range of markets, from higher education and manufacturing to transport, technology and the law, so I’m used to quickly getting to grips with new topics and issues. Being from Wales and having started my career with the Welsh Government, I also work with our clients if they’re looking to reach influencers yng Nghymru.

And finally, what do you do in your spare time?
With a young family and as a local councillor, spare time is at a bit of a premium. But when I can I enjoy sampling everything the Wye Valley (where I live) has to offer; from food and drink, to country walks and great events.
